Information technologies create a new image of medicine of the future. Active use of wearable gadgets and smartphones allows you to continuously collect data on the human condition, which is analyzed by cloud information systems and built-in intelligent assistants. In the field of contact medicine, robotic systems are rapidly developing, which not only help doctors in high-precision operations, but also increasingly replace them.
As part of the IntelMed program, you will be able to develop expert systems and platforms for supporting in making diagnostic and therapeutic decisions based on artificial intelligence, deep learning, telemedicine, and processing heterogeneous large-volume medical data. In terms of applied training, special attention is paid to the creation of wearable gadgets, mobile applications and related web services for personal medicine.
We invite both IT specialists and medical graduates to the program.
The master's program is designed and developed under the direction of "HealthNet" National technology initiative and the Federal project "Artificial Intelligence" National programme "Digital economy".
The program allows for the preparation of individual educational trajectories of students and programs, to account for individual characteristics of graduates, the reality of their life situations and circumstances, the interests of employers, etc. features of higher education implementation.
One of the most important features of the program is its attachment to specific projects that are implemented by full-time and invited members of the research and teaching staff. Being linked to specific projects, programs are limited not only by the time of their implementation, but also by the time of project completion. The program is implemented during the project period, and ends after its completion. In fact, the development or updating of the master's program is reduced to creating or updating an educational and methodological add-on for some research project.
The projects, implementing on the basis of the program, represent as research and development projects carried out by a team of scientists and specialists associated with an organization (a company, industrial enterprise, research Institute, etc.) or a team of like-minded performers of works on a scientific grant funded by an organization.
The project must be innovative and have a specific goal and objectives. In the process of its implementation, a science-intensive intellectual product should be developed that has scientific novelty, practical value and significance, aimed at obtaining economically and socially effective solutions that are relevant to science and industry.
The program has a high level of resources — human resources, training and methodological (scientific and educational) and information resources. The program is implemented within the framework of the scientific school "Information technologies of Semiotics, Linguistics, and Cognitology". The main pedagogical resource of the programs is represented by the scientific and educational cluster of Computational Linguistics and artificial intelligence (SEC CLAIM)
The team representing the scientific school consists of 11 candidates of technical Sciences, one Winner of the Russian President's award in the field of education, the average age of the team is 35 years. 9 members of the team are heads of IT companies or their divisions. The team consists of 8 postgraduates and applicants for academic degrees.
In recent years, members of the team have published: 20 monographs and textbooks, more than 300 scientific articles on the subject of the master's program. 25 research projects were completed. 18 PhD theses were defended. More than 70 diploma projects and master's theses have been completed.
Studies at Moscow Poly
- The program is implemented on the basis of the research laboratory "Artificial intelligence" of the Department of "Infocognitive technologies"
- Training involves no more than 12 hours (16 academic hours) of contact work with teachers per week according to the approved schedule. Two days of classroom classes (lectures, practical classes, laboratory work) per week. According to the established tradition they are held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekly from September to December and from February to May.
- Lectures in individual disciplines are no more than 12 academic hours. Lectures are delivered in September and February. The attendance is mandatory. Practical training, laboratory work and consultations can be carried out remotely.
- In cases of combining training with work, with employer's consent and/or after coordination with the Moscow Polytechnic University (conclusion of a special agreement on practice) independent work, training practices, research practices and pre-graduate practice can be carried out in the employer's organization.
- The student, together with the head of the educational program, draws up their own individual curriculum. The plan provides for mandatory subjects (50%) and elective subjects that can be selected from the General list. Elective subjects must meet the content of the final qualifying work of the student.
- The labor intensity of each of the studied disciplines (modules) is no more than 2 credit units, i.e. 72 academic hours, 36 of which are classroom classes, 36 are independent work. The exception is the discipline "Design and research activities", which has a labor intensity of credit units, i.e. 792 academic hours, only 36 hours of which are classroom are delivered in the first term of study. The entire discipline is implemented during 4 terms. In the first terms, students study only the mandatory subjects of the program.
- During the first term, students are invited to determine the topic of their final qualifying work and form an individual curriculum.
- The topic of the final qualifying work should correspond to the tasks (subtasks) implemented in the research laboratory "Artificial intelligence" of the Department of "Infocognitive technologies".
