Anniversary Exhibition of Works by Russian Artist Alexei Fedulov Opened Up at Moscow Poly
On March 30, the individual exhibition of works by the merited artist of Russia Alexei Fedulov opened at the Museum of Printing History, Book Publishing and Ivan Fedorov Moscow State University of Printing Arts.
The professor of the department “Drawing and Pictorial Art” under the Favorsky Institute of Graphics and Book Art Alexei Fedulov presented to the audience the gold portfolio of his work: landscapes, graphics and posts created by him. At the opening ceremony, the Master`s fans, friends, colleagues and students delivered their speeches with the kind words and wishes emphasizing the diversity of his talents as an artist, gallerist and teacher.
“One of the most important things that You do is transferring the knowledge and experience to the younger generation. Big thank you for that you`re a great artist and that you find the time and energy for that. Wish you big creative achievements”, – addressed the anniversary celebrant in his congratulatory speech the University president Vladmir Miklushevskii.
The president of the Federation Council Committee for International Affairs, senator noted that he sees Alexei Fedulov as a young men who has many plans, much fervour and many talents.
“Alexei is an unusual person, he sees the world around in his own way and has a talent for sharing this vision with us. He`s a master of depiction and inspiration, is very engaged in teaching and artistic creation. I wish I could see him more often”, – senator said.
The merited officer of the diplomatic service of the Russian Federation Alexei Fedotov, ex-Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, ex-deputy minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation shared with those present what success the exhibitions enjoyed abroad.
The diplomat specially emphasized that Fedulov is a true master of Russian landscapes.
“When we were organizing the exhibition in the Czech Republic, every visitor had a clear perception of what Russia is. Apart from that, I`d like to specially mention about the graphic illustrations that were displayed. The graphics requires deep contents of the works, and Alexei is a very intellectual person at that”.
He also reminded to audience that Alexei Fedulov is the creator of many post stamps and presented the “Iskusstvo Marki” (“The Art of Stamps”) photo album. Fedulov`s “Dvorik v kolomne”, 1994 that was included into the “Russian Contemporary Art” series was also included into the book. The visitors were able to see the original at the exhibition.
Their congratulations and wishes expressed the secretary to the Russian Association of Artists, merited artist of Russia Valery Polotnov, president of the Tver office under Russian Association of Artist, merited artist of the Russian Federation Gennady Samoilov, RAA corresponding member, merited artist of Russia, professor at the department of drawing and pictorial art under Moscow Poly Andrei Dubov, the exhibition host`s wife, fine art expert Eleonora Rusakova and many others.
During the excursion that followed, the artist`s selected works – landscapes that were painted during his trips around Russia and graphic paintings – were presented to the audience.
