Moscow Poly Launched “Picturesque Sketches” Exhibition by University Teacher
The “Picturesque Sketches” personal exhibition by Maria Krechetova opened up at the “Ivan Fedorov Printing Yard” center of printing arts on April 5 at 17:00.
Maria A. Krechetova is a Moscow State University of Printing Arts graduate, member of Creative Union of Russian Artists since 2003, member of Moscow Union of Artists since 2011. Since 201 Maria has been working at Moscow Poly departments for “Academic Drawing and Pictorial Art” and “Artistic and Technical Design of Printed Products” as an assistant professor, teaching as a resident teacher at the Center for pre-University Training and “Polygraph” school since 2009. Maria is an active participant at the various conferences, exhibitions and prize holder at many international contests.
Apart from teaching, she is also working as an artist, illustrator, designer, and is interested in unique engraving techniques.
The exhibition displays picturesque sketches – landscapes and still-life paintings, portraits and graphics – eau-forte, litographs, and monotypes. The majority of which has been performed while teaching at the University as a way of demonstrating basics of compositional, coloristic and plastic basics to the students.
