Vladimir Miklushevskii Discusses Cooperation Prospects with One of Leading Universities of Shanghai
Moscow Polytech president Vladimir Miklushevskii paid a visit to Shanghai University of Engineering Science (SUES). The two universities reached new agreements regarding cooperation, and discussed the issues of establishing joint educational programs for students.
One of the main aims of negotiations is the discussion of educational programs that Moscow Polytech for the international students of the University, which resulted in establishing summer schools for the Chinese students. The programs will comprise an educational and cultural blocks. The approach will help international students acquire new knowledge from Russian specialists and adapt to the culture of the country faster.
Moscow Polytech students and employees, in their turn, will get an opportunity to study, work and teach in the framework of exchange programs.
“I am convinced that the partnership relations with China will bear positive impact both on development of science at Moscow Polytech and strengthening international communication between students, teachers and employees of the two universities”, Moscow Polytech president Vladimir Miklushevskii concluded.
There are plans to develop scientific activity in the framework of the cooperation. Both sides signed the agreement on implementation of join research projects, establishing exchange programs for research specialists in order to carry out research activity, and organization of international conferences for scientists with special attention to be paid to engineering.
As a reminder, in April 2023, Moscow Polytech established its representative office in Shanghai. Cooperation allowed to work directly with Chinese universities and research organizations in automotive industry, as well as innovative industrial enterprises. Thanks to the partnership, Moscow Polytech is able to promote its educational programs and the Russian language abroad.
In May 2023, the director of Advanced Engineering School Pablo Iturralde, together with SUES administration discussed the implementation of join projects in the sphere of automotive industry and specialists training.
