The Spring Season of the Digital Practice Contest Starts at Moscow Polytechnic University

The new season of the International Interuniversity Contest of Creative Projects “Digital Practice” at Moscow Polytechnic University commenced on 24 February. The competition was organised by the Department of Advertising and Public Relations in Media Industry, Faculty of Economics and Management, following the contest’s traditional format. For three months, different student teams from various universities across the country will be working to solve the tasks set for them by leading companies.

At the initial briefing, brand representatives discussed their cases and addressed the participants’ queries.
The briefs for finding new and original solutions included:
— Peklo Studio (development of a strategy for the expansion of an international digital agency).
— Orel Gamma Factory (communication campaign to increase brand awareness by 2027).
— Brock Invest Service (creating an HR brand promotion strategy to attract young employees).
— Public Speaking Centre (formulating a promotional strategy for the school to boost sales).
— Neonoo - a brand producing a therapeutic training device for children with learning differences (preparing the brand platform for initial sales).
— Lamoda - one of the largest online shops in Russia and the CIS (strategic objective to establish a media portal for manufacturers and sellers in the fashion industry to communicate with each other and share their expertise).

Representatives from customer companies and industry experts will evaluate teams’ efforts. Contestants must research the topic, study target audiences and competitors and then propose a set of solutions for brand development. The best teams will present their projects in the final round of the competition in three months’ time.
Participants will engage in authentic tasks centred on promoting prominent national companies. They will acquire proficiency in internet marketing tools, learn to construct brand communication strategies with consumers, develop research and organisational skills, study AI technologies for monitoring and analysing social networks, and acquire a range of additional competencies.
Further details and registration are available on the contest website.
