The Exhibition of Dmitry Sandzhiyev “Wheel of Time” to Open at Moscow Polytech

The Exhibition of the National Artist of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Dmitry Sandzhiyev “Wheel of Time” is to open on February 13 at 4 p.m. in the art-cluster of Moscow Polytechnic University “Art Polytech”. The exposition will represent 40 works of one of the leading graphic artists and painters of modern native art.

On the opening day of the exhibition there will be held a creative evening of the artist with the demonstration of the movie “An Artist and His Path”, devoted to the creative path of the Master.

The originality of the paintings of Dmitry Sandzhiyev – is in the color and texture delights. In his paintings, the paint appears as a precious colored mass that the master literally sculpts and jewelry processes each millimeter of his works.

The artist’s work surprises by imaginative improvisations and phantasmagoria of feelings of reality, turning the immediate into the infinite “Wheel of Time”.

The Master is brilliantly proficient in various artistic techniques, which add magic to his works, - in graphics there are used embossing on paper, strokes of gold, shining beads, scattered on the canvas. Picturesque works are decorated with gemstones.

Masterly executed graphic and picturesque works of Dmitry Nikitich Sandzhiyev allow perceiving in the new way the most ordinary situations of everyday life. The artist creates his own parallel worlds by seeing in a particular fact, a specific event much more than ever before opened to their ordinary consciousness.
