The Correspondence Competition of Readers of Poetry by Pushkin A.S. Will Be Held at Moscow Polytechnic University
In anticipation of the celebration of the 221st anniversary of the birth of Pushkin A.S., as well as in order to implement the state program "Patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation" for 2016-2020, approved by Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 30, 2015 No. 1493 , popularization of the Russian language as a means of inter-ethnic communication, Moscow Polytechnic University is holding a contest for the best reading of the poems of the great Russian poet. The results of the competition will be announced on May 25, 2020 in honor of another significant date - International Philologist Day.
Moscow Polytechnic University is definitely a multinational university - students from 62 countries of the world study in various educational programs and areas of study. But we are all united by the Russian language which we use to communicate, study and teach.
The creative and cultural heritage of Pushkin A.S. is appreciated in all countries of the world, and his works are translated into 210 languages. Therefore, for the next anniversary of the birth of the great Russian poet, we are holding a competition of the best readers of poetry, A. S. Pushkin.
The competition is organized by Faculty of Economics and Management and Directorate for Educational and Social Work of Moscow Polytechnic University, that invite employees, teachers and students of our university, as well as Russian and foreign universities, colleges and schools to take part in the competition and prepare a video reading of the favorite poem A. S Pushkin in Russian.
The final work (a video lasting up to 5 minutes and an abstract to it) must be sent till May 20 to the email address konkurs.mp@yandex.ru. You have to write your surname in Latin letters and the number of the goup (example: IVANOV_151-651.mov) in the name pf the files or just the surname for students and employees of other universities (example: IVANOV). It is necessary to indicate the name of the work, year of its writing, name and country / region of the contestant in the abstract to the video.
The jury will evaluate all submitted works according to the following criteria: competent speech, phonetics, expressiveness and artistry, depth of penetration into the figurative system and the semantic structure of the text, accuracy of reproduction by heart.
The results of the competition will be announced on May 25, 2020. Winners and prize-winners will be identified in two categories: among Russian and foreign students, which will allow all participants to compete on equal terms. Commemorative diplomas will be awarded to all competitors, gifts with the symbols of Moscow Polytechnic University will be awarded to winners and prize-winners.
