Sustainable development under the conditions of digital transformation to be discussed at Moscow Polytech

XVI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Managing Sustainable Development of Russia under the Conditions of Digital Transformation” will be held at Moscow Polytech. The conference is dedicated to the memory of the honored scientist of the Russian Federation Valentina Kravtsova.

Prominent economists will speak at the plenary session face-to-face and online.

Vladimir Zakharov, Professor, Head of Center for Sustainable Development and Environmental Health of the N.K. Koltsov Institute of Developmental Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, member of the interdepartmental working group at the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation on the issues of climate and ensuring sustainable development.

Sergey Nikiforov, Professor, Director of the Center for the Study of Economic Problems of Arctic Development, Faculty of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Academician of the Public Russian Academy of Ecology, member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation will tell about sustainable development of Arctic regions.

Oleg Sukharev, Professor, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor of the Department of World Economy at the Russian State University for the Humanities will tell about digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

Additionally, economic scientists from the Financial University under the government of the Russian Federation, Moscow Polytechnic University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, specialists from Bangladesh and Azerbaijan.

After the plenary session there will be held sections, including in the English language.

Reference: Valentina Il’yinichna Kravtsova (1936-2011) - -is an outstanding specialist in the sphere of economics, organization, management, PhD in Economics, an academician of four International Public Academies, a famous scientist and an educator, Professor, a Winner of the Government of the Russian Federation Award in the field of education (2004) for the "Comprehensive study "Innovative model and system of advanced training of specialists for the competitive development of Russia in the 21st century”. Since 1992 worked at Moscow State Technical University “MAMI” in the position of Head of Department of Marketing and Management, combining her work in this position with the work of Rector of the Institute of World Economy (1994-2003).
