Adaptive-preventive online meeting for the first-year students took place.
Moscow Poly and the Centre for the Prevention of Religious and Ethnic Extremism in Educational Organizations of the Russian Federation held the event.
The purpose of the meeting is the consolidation of civil identity and the preventing of radicalism among students.
Approximately 180 students attended the meeting.
During the event David Petrosyan, the leading expert of Religious and Ethnic Extremism in Educational Organizations of the Russian Federation presented the following subjects to the students:
- ethnic diversity in the world;
- the danger of extremism and terrorism;
- why we should be tolerant, learn how to live in peace with others and understand that any manifestation of extremism or terrorism is subject to criminal liability.
