Moscow Poly Employee Became Laureate at Russian National “Russian in Poems” Contest
Moscow Poly Favorsky Institute of Graphics and Book Art employee Valeriya Medvedeva announced the winner of V Russian national competition – “Russian History in Poems». The awarding ceremony took place on June 2, at the book pavilion “History of the Motherland”, working at the IX Book Festival “Red Square”.
Valeriya Medvedev, an employee of the Museum of History of Printing, Book Publishing and MGUP named after Ivan Fedorov of Moscow Polytechnic, became the winner of the V All-Russian competition “History of Russia in Poems”. Awarding of participants took place on June 2, in the book pavilion “History of the Motherland” that was working at the “Red Square” IXth book festival.
The “History of Russia in Poetry” contest is a video course of poetic recitation. Participants recite poetic works of the Russian authors about the country and its historical events. The contest was organized by the “History of the Fatherland” foundation and Russian State Children’s Library.
The winners and laureates had an opportunity to read out the chosen poems in public. Valeriya performed with a poem “Гой, ты, Русь моя родная” by Sergey Yesenin in 1914.
