Moscow Poly president Vladimir Miklushevskii was honored to receive gratitude from the Russian president Vladimir Putin. On 4 July, Vladimir Miklushevskii received an award from the minister of science and higher educationValery Falkov.
“For achievements in scientific-research activity, training qualified specialists and long-standing conscientious work”, – as the statement published on the president`s official website.
Vladimir Miklushevskii took the lead of the University in 2017. Before that, Vladimir took the position of a director of the department for budgetary processes forecasting and planning for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and starting from 2008 – deputy minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. In 2010, Vladimir Miklushevskii was appointed as a rector of the Far-Eastern Federal University (FEFU). In the period between 2012 and 2017 was the governor of the Primorskiy Krai.
The presidential appreciation letter was also awarded to the Moscow Poly creative director Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya. Since 2019, Ekaterina has been acting as the Russian Book Union committee president for training specialists and carrying out further professional training in the industry. From 2018 to 2021 she has been acting as the director of Higher School of Printing and Media Industry under Moscow Poly. Since 2021, has been heading the Institute of Book Publishing and Journalism.
