Remote-piloted “Smart Shuttle” Presented at “Technograd”
On February 9 the “Technograd” innovative and educational complex held an event where the remote-piloted “Smart Shuttle” developed by the team of students and engineers from Moscow Poly was presented.
Iturralde Pablo, the head of the Engineering development Center under Moscow Poly, revealed the advantages of the shuttlecraft to the representatives of VDNKh, Moscow Innovation Cluster and “Technograd”. Pablo also spoke about the possibility to incorporate the shuttle into the modern park infrastructure and the prospects that the remotely piloted vehicle sphere holds per se. The shuttle can be used as a tour bus to travel along the scheduled routes prerecorded in the system. The shuttle system setups allow it to recognize the objects, signs and routes thanks to the special hardware and sensors.
In addition to that, the matters were discussed regarding the modernized “Smart Shuttle” exploitation on the territory of recreation parks in the future. Representatives of the “VDNKh” LC expressed their opinion on the possible demand in a further remote-piloted vehicle development with an increase in the number of passenger seats.
“Smart Shuttle” can be seamlessly blended into the modern parks landscape. The vehicle is eco-friendly and safe both for passengers and pedestrians.
