Congratulations on Victory Day!

May 9 is a holiday that holds a special place in the history of our country. We honor the memory of our fathers and grandfathers and pay tribute to the veterans whose lives became an example of selfless service to the Motherland.

During the Great Patriotic War, hundreds of the university’s students, staff members, and graduates volunteered to go to the front and joined the people’s militia to defend Moscow. The university also continued working for the needs of the front even during the evacuation period: its scientists developed new types of ammunition and military products. Their heroic deeds inspire us to work conscientiously and achieve new accomplishments for the benefit of Russia.

On this significant day, I wish you strong health, happiness, and peaceful skies above your heads!”
