«Prioriry 2030: Avtotor Holding Director General Talked On Cooperation with Moscow Poly

The “Avtotor Holding” director general Alexander Sorokin discussed with the RT channel the cooperation with Moscow Poly under the “Priority 2030” government program for university support.

According to Alexander Sorokin, the company has been actively cooperating with the University in two field areas: staff training and developing new engineering solutions.

“Teachers arrive at the plant where they hold a short course. We, in our turn, send our specialists to the University either for a further professional training or for full-time studies in groups of 6-8 people. Thus, we gradually fill the enterprise will highly qualified staff. Moscow Poly provides us with great support”, – Alexander noted.

On top of that, the University teachers and the private company experts are working jointly on developing new engineering solutions. This way, the company is preparing to launch car manufacturing processes and building an electric engine manufacturing plant that is to start its work next year.

“Naturally, we do need experts not in engine and battery manufacturing itself, but rather in electric engine car operation systems. Moscow Poly has a rich experience in this sphere – they`re engaged in racing engineering, the sphere where the most advanced solutions are developed. That is the experience we use in our constructions”, – the director added.

Scientists also help mechanical engineers find ways of making the future electric car cheaper. For example, commonly-used polyethylene-terephthalate (PET) can be used when decorating the car interior.
