Open Day Event: Moscow Poly Held First Meeting with Enrollees in New Academic Year
On October 1, Moscow Poly held an open day event for enrollees. As the event unfolded, the future students visited tours, workshops and exhibitions by different faculties and institutions, as well as received consultations on education matters.
For the participants, there was a zone that the AES for electrical transport prepared, and the project exhibition was set up in the sports hall. At the presentation, the “Ecuador”, MIG R2 sports bike, as well as the “Sunny Regatta” and Polytech Garage were displayed.
During the official part of the event held in the sports hall, the floor was given to the vice-president for academic affairs Guzel Sharipzynova. The vice-president expressed her hope that the enrollees will be able to find their future in Moscow Poly and invited guys to take part in various events that the University prepared for them.
The head of the Center for Project Activity Ivan Petukhov presented to the participants that concept of project activity and introduced them to the industrial partners of the University. The ‘Ecostandard group’ representative Katerina Vesyolova emphasized that thanks to the practices and internships students acquire experience and skills that are crucial for solving real issues.
“During internships, student get carry our real projects that allow to work at each of the departments and figure out where to study”, - shared Katerina Vesyolova.
In their turn, performance by Moscow Poly creative workshop members, assembly and ‘Free Dance Familty’ team held the visitors charge with positive vibes. After that, the audience enjoyed the chemistry show by the Center for Project Activity teacher Valery Chumakov.
As the official part of the event came to an end, enrollees and their parents went on to meet the faculty and institutes deans. They learnt more about the chosen professions at the workshops hosted by the University teachers.
