Moscow Poly Presented Educational Programs and Methodology for Creative Industries at “MOSCOW-FEST”

The Russian capital became a venue for the “MOSCOW-FEST” international festival. Moscow Poly Representatives took part in the event and talked about the University.

For Moscow Poly, the international festival began with a case-workshop – “UNIVERSITY + Creative Business: Course for Close Up”. The organizer of workshop was the Creative Industries Agency of Moscow. Moscow creative director Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya spoke about the experience of organizing project activities at the University, the method of design thinking in education, ART POLYTECH and opportunities that the University has to help young specialists build their creative competencies at the university.

In the middle of the admission campaign at the site “Game Industry and Universities: Creative Future”, Moscow Poly presented the educational programs that the Faculty of Information Technologies offers. The senior lecturer of the department “Informatics and Information Technologies” Marianna Alpatova and the lecturer of the department “Infocognitive Technologies” Grigory Kopylov told the audience about the peculiarities of training courses that the University carries out. The experts presented programs on video games and software for the gaming industry.

“To enter the IT-world doesn`t just mean becoming a part of the industry, but to turn into reality your vision of the world, ideas and projects. IT is not just about programming and technology. It is a world where everyone can find a unique way and become its creator. Moscow Poly is a space for self-realization, research and discoveries, where all students can find themselves and demonstrate their best sides”, - Marianna Alpatova addressed the enrollees.

Also, there was a festival site “Moscow Museum” where the deputy Head of the Department “Design” of the Transport Faculty Anton Izotov delivered his speech. The speaker talked on the features and benefits of learning industrial design at Moscow Poly and explained what challenges the University is faced with and how it finds the solutions.

Confirmation of the success of educational programs in the field of design was the victory of young teacher of the faculty “Design” and Moscow Poly recent graduate Maria Suprunova in the final of the PRO COSMOS digital sketch-battle. The main prize of the competition is the opportunity to develop official merch of “Roscosmos” that Maria Suprunova will be engaged in.
