Moscow Polytechnic University Meets with a Delegation from the Iraqi Republic to Discuss Partnership Plans
Delegation from the Iraqi Republic paid a working visit to Moscow Polytechnic University on 15 November. At the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of conducting professional development programmes for Iraqi administrative staff in the field of Public Administration. In addition, they addressed important issues of practical experience exchange in core areas such as Digitalisation, Management, Risk Reduction and the use of Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration.
The meeting was attended by Salah Hasan Abdullah, Head of Administration and Finance Department of Iraq Prime Minister Office, Abdulkareem Kadhim Ajeel, Head of Management Training Institute at the General Secretariat of Ministers of Iraq Council, Hussein Ali Dawood, CEO of National Centre for Administrative Development and Information Technology at Iraq Ministry of Planning, Ahmed Rushdi Abdullah, Member of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dania Dahir Abbas, Head of Personnel Training Division of Iraq Prime Minister Office, Rasool Hamad Assi, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Iraq in Moscow and Ahmed Hadi Mahdi, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Iraq in Moscow.
From the part of Moscow Polytechnic University were Anton Nalivaiko, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work, Gyuzel Sharipzyanova, Vice-Rector for Academic Work, Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Alina Andrukh, Head of Directorate for International Integration and WFS, Igor Smolyanoy, Head of the International Programmes Department and Denis Voronin, Head of the Vocational Competence Development Centre.
The Iraqi delegation expressed interest in short-term practice-oriented courses for highly qualified top-level personnel.
As a result of the visit of the Iraqi delegates to the Moscow Polytechnic University, organised by Rossotrudnichestvo, the parties reached agreements on the further cooperation in the field of Education, Advanced Training of Civil Servants. In addition, the participants agreed on the information support provided by the Iraqi authorities to the quota campaign for the recruitment of Iraqi citizens to study in Russia.
