Moscow Polytechnic University Develops an Anthropomorphic Robot

Moscow Polytechnic University together with the center for youth innovative creativity "ROBOLATORIA" from the city of Odintsovo is developing an anthropomorphic robot.

An anthropomorphic robot is a robot that has a similar structure to a human and similar features. Parts of the body and mobile mechanisms are made using laser cutting, 3D printing and vacuum infusion methods. Today, engineers together with students of the educational programs "Cyberphysical systems" and "integration and programming in CAD" of the faculty of Information technology have completed the development of brushes. By mid-2021, the first prototype will be presented.

"Work on this project in our Center is carried out in partnership with the Moscow Polytechnic University as part of student practices organized by our Center. Over 40 students of the Moscow Polytechnic University, MGIMO and GUU are trained here during the year, " said Dmitrii Martynov, Director of the Center.
