A delegation from Moscow Polytechnic University, headed by Alina Andrukh, Head of the International Directorate, and Anastasia Erofeeva, Educational Programmes Manager, paid a working visit to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University (Agra University), one of the leading public universities in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
The visit program included meetings with representatives of the Faculty of Information Technology and the Department of Linguistics. During the discussions, the parties explored opportunities for academic exchange programmes, admission pathways for Indian students to Moscow Polytechnic’s Master’s degree programmes, and prospects for organizing joint conferences, seminars and cultural festivals in the near future. The faculties of Information Technology have already agreed to proceed with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOI).
The delegation also met with students to introduce them to Moscow Polytechnic’s academic programmes, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities. The presentation was followed by an interactive lecture and quiz dedicated to Russia, Moscow, and student life at Moscow Polytechnic. Students who successfully answered the questions received commemorative gifts from the University.
Particular interest was shown in the opportunities available to graduates of linguistic and philological programmes. Students learned more about the admission requirements for the Master’s programme in Journalism, which will be offered in English starting this academic year. Many participants expressed interest in improving their language skills and taking part in Moscow Polytechnic’s summer schools.
The visit marked another important step in expanding Moscow Polytechnic’s international presence and strengthening cooperation with educational institutions in India.
