Moscow Polytechnic University has won over 12 million rubles in funding for two student accelerator programs focused on technological entrepreneurship. The 2025 university accelerator program competition was organized by the NTI Platform.
More than 500 students will participate in Moscow Polytech's programs, which will support 50 project teams and 50 startup projects. These programs aim to help students transform ideas into innovative products capable of contributing to national development.
A key evaluation criterion emphasized that accelerator programs should serve as tools for shaping a new generation. Young people should feel connected to Russia's future as a global technology leader and understand technology's role in national progress. Program graduates will be prepared to address societal challenges and create projects with tangible value for the economy, society, and the state.
Background: Since 2025, accelerators have been integrated into the federal project "Technologies" under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," which is part of the state program "Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation."
