Moscow Polytech students present almost 300 projects within ‘Project Activity’ course
Moscow Polytechnic University held a defense of student projects under the "Project Activity" program. In total, students presented 291 projects. They covered various topics including technological leadership, scientific projects, transportation, IT, design, urban studies, chemical and biotechnology, multimedia, and more.
The projects were implemented in response to real-world demands from industrial partners. Many received high marks from the jury, which included experts from major Russian companies.
Among the best projects, the experts highlighted the FDR12 hybrid sports prototype, PROCOLLAB, the ‘CinemaCube’ film club, the Moscow Polytechnic University comics’ studio, and the development of interactive graphics using Unity and Unreal Engine for TMH.
More than 30 projects were devoted to scientific topics. The future engineers' research covers a wide range of topics: from friction welding and the unmanned vehicle safety monitoring and management system to biosensor technologies for theranostics and the development of rural agglomerations in Russia. Two projects are dedicated to highlighting scientific developments and popularizing research: the video project "Scientific Kitchen" and "Development of Popular Science Content."
The "Project-Based Activity" course at Moscow Polytechnic University is a key element of the educational process, integrated into all curricula from the first to the final year in all programs. It allows students to work on real-world projects, connecting theoretical knowledge with practice, and develops competencies sought after by employers, such as

- interdisciplinary approach,
- product orientation and creative thinking.
Through participation in projects, students interact with partner companies and develop professional trajectories, significantly increasing their chances of successful employment.
