Moscow Polytech Students Become Prize-Winners of “Wind of Digital Changes. UX Battle” Hackaton
Moscow Polytech students participated in a short practical hackathon on November 30. The participants of the events listened to a lecture about the main principals of UI/UX design after which they had to solve some team tasks, analyzed interface of the products that are under development by the company.
In the course of several hours the guys had to figure out the product for designing the interface, solve three tasks related to it and present their solution to the public. According to the organization committee, the students were able to demonstrate a great result.
The leading interface designer for GNIVTS Roman Morozov was one of the headliners for the hackathon and presented his own UX-checklist where he enlisted 8 key principles of designing interface.
The winners of the hackathon received graphic tablets, whereas second-place winners received books on typographics. Also, all participants received branded shoppers and other merch.
In the end of the event, students were told about internships and practical trainings, the structure of the companies and fields of elaborations.
As a result of the hackathon, Moscow Polytech students took second and third places.
