On July 30, the sixth session of the Expert Council of the “Center of Competencies” project ended. Vice-President for Academic Affairs of Moscow Polytech Gyuzel Sharipzyanova presented a report, in which she noted absolute advantages of the work of “The Center of Competencies” both for students and for the university staff.
The Expert Council of the “Center of Competencies” project is headed by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valeriy Falkov, President of the Russian Academy of Science (RAS) Alexander Sergeyev and Director General of Presidential Platform “Russia – the Country of Opportunities” Alexey Komissarov.
The Council includes rectors of leading Russian universities, deputy ministers of education, labor and social protection, digital development, communication and mass media, health care, culture, agriculture, those supervising the issues of higher education, as well as heads of corporate universities of state corporations and business representatives.
“The project entered the new stage of development: the number of the students involved in the project increased up to 757 thousands, the Centers of Competencies are operating in 232 universities. I’d like to note that since the last session of the Expert Councils are opened at 64 educational entities, what, in my opinion, confirms relevance of the project both among universities and regional authorities. The key partner of the project became hh.ru - one of major Russian job search services. Due to cooperation, the project participants may attach the competencies diagnostics results to their CVs and increase their chances of employment,” - noted in his opening statement General Director of ANO “Russia –the Country of Opportunities” , Rector of the Presidential Academy Alexey Komissarov.
In her report, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, acting Vice-President for the Development of Additional Vocational Education and Interaction with Moscow Polytech Partners Gyuzel Sharipzyanova noted that the University fully supports students who want to become “the best version of themselves”. Therefore, one of important points of the track “Development” is the inclusion of the Presidential Platform projects into the list of individual achievements.
“In particular, the Unique Competencies Passport gives 5 points to trainees when applying for the master’s degree. In addition, our University is the first one in Russia, which awards participants of the "Start the Game" project fr om 5 to 10 points when applying for the bachelor’s degree. I would also note that the best students could go for trips round Russia and receive an invitation for practice. Also, the Center of Competencies forms the track of opportunities both for the employees and faculty staff of the University, by sending them to educational events organized by the experts of the “Center of Competencies” project and Senezh Management Workshop,” - noted Vice-President for Academic Affairs of Moscow Polytech Gyuzel Sharipzyanova.
In addition, Gyuzel Sharipzyanova also announced holding the “Festival of Opportunities” for the next Academic Year, wh ere students of the University would be able to select their own tracks of development.
