Moscow Polytech’s Advanced Engineering School of Electric Transport launched new Master’s degrees programs

The Advanced Engineering School (AES) of Electric Transport at Moscow Polytech offers new Master’s degrees programs in 2024-2025: “Electrified Vehicles” and “Design and Style of Vehicles”. Moscow Polytech has launched the programs jointly with industrial partners: EC KAMAZ, Skolkovo, CARDI and Avia-Conept.

The program “Electrified Vehicles”, developed jointly with EC KAMAZ and Skolkovo, is aimed at training specialists in the field of electrified vehicles. Studies will be offered at partner’s premises, EC “KAMAZ”, where student may be involved in the production process, without breaking away from gaining theoretical knowledge. In the framework of the educational program, the students will be engaged in the project on the development of a battery-powered wheeled vehicle.

Young professional graduates will possess all the necessary skills in engineering vehicles with traction electric drive, calibration of traction electrical control systems of electric vehicles. In addition, they will obtain the experience in the sphere of creating intelligent systems of management and control over the units and aggregates of transportation means, and the development of autonomous driving systems of vehicles, as well as professional knowledge of electric vehicles.

The program “Design and Style of Vehicles” is aimed at training specialists in the sphere of transport design, in the framework of which the students will develop skills to find stylistic solutions of a given vehicle. The project includes all the competencies in sphere of conceptual design: starting from market analytics and ending up with the creation of a 3-D model. Special attention will be paid to the development of soft skills in design. In the course of studies, the students will have to develop a conceptual design of the Body-3 electric vehicle under the supervision of the representatives of partner-companies CARDI and Avia-Concept.

Upon graduation, highly skilled specialists will be professionals in the sphere of 3-D design, modeling and prototyping; working in the program Alias; and they will upgrade their self-presentation and project management skills.

"The Master’s degree programs have been developed taking into account current needs of the automotive industry of Russia. . For us, the main task of educating the new generation of Master’s students is to produce the most knowledgeable personnel, meeting the needs of the modern market. Moscow Polytech is actively cooperating with and remains in tight connection with industrial partners, which, in its turn, allows us to understand and analyze the changes in current demands of the labor market. It, correspondingly, allows to respond to the changes as quickly as possible,” - shared Dasha Khamdamova, the head of the Department of Organization and Management of Educational Process of Advanced Engineering School of Electric Transport.

Also, AES of Electric Transport continues recruitment for such educational programs as “Racing Engineering”, “Engineering Design”, “Highly Automated Vehicles” and “Software Engineering in Automotive Industry”. To learn more about all fields of studies at AES you can join the Open Day “From Inspiration to Victory” on July 24 organised by Mospolytech. Speakers from leading branches of the automotive industry will deliver presentations at the event. You need to register in advance in order to get access to the Open Day.

AES of Electric Transport also operates in the framework of the national program of support of Russian universities “Priority 2030”. The school has finalized large-scale rigging of the material and technical base of such laboratories as “Virtual Car Tests”, “Electric Mobility and Mechatronics”, and the laboratory of the Technical Support Center and of the Center for Reverse Engineering and Standardization.
