On April 2, Moscow Polytech held a meeting of the University president Vladimir Miklushevskii and students. One of the key subjects to discuss was a trilateral agreement that was signed in 2023 by the University, trade union and United Student Council.
“It wasn`t easy to ensure the contents and approving the agreement. And now it`s been 9 months since its implementation. There are results. A lot has already been done under the agreement but there is more to discuss”, noted the president Vladimir Miklushevskii.
In the course of the event, the president of the United Student Council Maria Nechaeva shared what work has been done in the field. In particular, how the student dormitory councils structure their, and what their functions are. Thus, Councils are responsible for holding entertainment event, and render assistance during the housing and adaption period.
The president also emphasized the work with academic groups. Student activists` job doesn`t only come down to this, the speaker added. According to Maria Nechaeva, the University Council has been actively participating in the Student Council sessions and joining Student Associations and various student union of Moscow, and for that has been granted an appreciation letter.
The meeting took the form of a dialogue. Vladimir Miklushevskii answered students` questions about scholarships, sport clubs and medical services.
In conclusion, students talked about their participation in as many as two events symbolic for the country: the first international tournament held in the phygital form “Games of the Future” in Kazan and Russian International Youth Festival. It wasn`t only bright impressions that the guys brought back from Sochi but also a video report that they demonstrated to the participants of the meeting.
