Moscow Polytech Participates in the 2nd Indo - Russian Education Summit 2026
On May 28–29, the 2nd Indo - Russian Education Summit took place in New Delhi, India. The event brought together more than 100 Russian and Indian universities, 200 delegations, over 25 speakers, and a series of panel discussions. The summit served as a major international platform aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Russia and India in the fields of education, science, and the training of highly qualified professionals.
The opening ceremony featured welcome addresses from Denis Alipov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India, Tatyana Semenova, Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Elena Remizova, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India, and Yulia Kondykova, Director of the Department of Education and Human Resources Policy at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Among the distinguished guests from the Indian side were Dr. Abhijat Chandrakant Sheth, Chairman of the National Medical Commission of India, Professor Vinay Kumar Pathak, President of the Association of Indian Universities, as well as rectors of leading Indian universities and representatives of the country’s academic community.
During the summit, participants discussed key areas of cooperation in higher education, research, academic mobility, and the training of future professionals. Special attention was given to expanding inter-university collaboration, developing joint educational programs, and strengthening educational and cultural ties between Russia and India.
Aline Andrukh, Head of the International Directorate at Moscow Polytech, delivered a presentation at the panel discussion “Youth: A Partnership Strategy for the Sustainable Development of Russia–India Cooperation.”
“To achieve the targets set by the national development goals of the Russian Federation, particular attention should be paid to academic cooperation and the development of international youth educational projects. In line with this strategic objective, Moscow Polytech considers Indian universities to be key partners for the implementation of joint youth educational initiatives,” Aline Andrukh noted in her presentation.
The 2nd Indo - Russian Education Summit became another important step in the development of bilateral relations, reaffirming the commitment of both countries to strengthening cooperation in education, science, and academic exchange.
