Moscow Polytech Participates in Session of Board Meeting of Russian Book Union

On November 13, the Russian Book Union held a board meeting where the results of the work done in 2023 have been summarized. The event was held by the president of Supervisory Board for Moscow Polytech Sergei Stepashin. The event was joined by the president of Moscow Polytech Vladimir Miklushevskii.

In 2023, Moscow Polytech held a Russian national contest of projects by the youth – “Book of the Future” that aims at supporting and developing youth initiatives for promotion of reading, maintaining conditions for professional development of the creative people of Russia and CIS countries, facilitating implementation of socially important project. 

The University participated in organization of the international book exhibitions in Minsk, Astana, Tegera, St.Petersburg, Saratov, Belgrad and Almaty. There were business, presentation, contest cultural and educational work done. The Russian Book Union is the main industry-specific organization in the publishing industry. The Union unites manufacturers and distributor, typographers and representatives of libraries, paper industry, literary and cultural figures. Moscow Polytech has been an active participant of a plentitude of events held the Union.

For reference: Moscow Polytech has been a member of the Russian Book Union since 2013. Moscow Polytech president Vladimir Miklushevskii has joined the board in 2019, whereas creative director of the University Ekaterina Khokhlogorskaya heads the Russian Book Union Committee for training specialists in the book industry and implementing further professional training. The president of the Russian Book Union Sergei Stepashin has been the head of the Supervisory Board under Moscow Polytechnic University.
