Last Sunday Moscow Polytech took part in the first match game held in the framework of the Cricket Championship. The tournament started on May 19 and will be taking place in the course of the following 1.5 months. Every Sunday, the teams will be taking part in friendly match games, and then compete with each other for an opportunity to be of the two teams joining the finals.
So far, Ceylon Cricket Club, Imperial Cricket Club, Moscow Victorians Club kept the University team – Moscow Polytech ROGO – company. However, eventually a total of 6 teams will be joining the Championship. As a result of the first meeting, Moscow Polytech has already managed to win once.
