On February 8, Russian Science Day, Cheboksary affiliation held an opening ceremony to open three academic labs – “Polytech MEdia”, academic center “Digital Technologies” and “OOO NPO Kaskad Group” lab.
At the event, attended to minister of industry and trade for the Republic of Chuvashia Boris Markovtsov, director general of “NPO Kaskad Group” Valeriy Andreev, as well as representatives of ministries and agencies, Moscow Polytech teachers and students.
“New labs will allow our students to improve their skills. Here we have both VR technologies, robots and unmanned vehicle programming, automation digital systems tuning. All of this has a great relevance for today”, – noted during the opening director for Cheboksaty affiliation Alexander Agafonov.
Thus, “Moscow Polytech” lab is equipped with an advanced facilities for sound recording and processing, filming and editing. The academic center “Digital Technologies” aims at supporting projects in robotics, virtual reality, modelling and prototyping.
It its turn, the “OOO NPO Kaskad Group” lab established under the assistance of the industrial partner is equipped with unique stands that allow students to operate, tune in digital systems for technical objects automation from “smart house” coming to industrial heat stations and supply ventilation, study modern Russian software developed in Chuvashiya.
Celebrations of the Russian Science Day ended up with an awarding of appreciation letters to teachers and students for their achievements in science in 2023. Also, professor from the department of construction production Alexei Avtonomov delivered a speech on the results of work in the sphere of Ecology in Chuvashiya.
