Moscow Polytech is among the Leaders of the National Rating of Digital Economics Universities in 2024

Moscow Polytech entered Top 20 of leading universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg in the National Rating of Digital Economy Universities on training of highly qualified IT –specialists. Since 2023, the rating is compiled by ANO “Digital Economy” with the assistance of the Association of Computer and Information Technology Enterprises, based on the opinion of leading technological and IT companies.

It should be noted, that in 2024 the rating was conducted separately for the universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg, and for regional universities and other regions of our country. The rating entered the universities, which have made a significant contribution to training of highly qualified IT-specialists. Ranking was conducted based on two parameters: assessment of universities by Digital Economy companies and the scale of training of IT-specialists. In total 81 heads of IT and HR – departments, IT and technological companies, including VK, Yandex, Sberbank, Rostelecom, Positive Technologies, and so on. The respondents should have named not only the partner-universities, but also those universities, which graduates they would prefer to hire. In total there were named 169 universities from 59 regions of Russia. The assessment of universities was conducted according to 69 fields of study, referred by еру Ministry of Digital Transformation of Russia to IT-education. They were assessed by the number of budget and paid places in IT –specialties as well as by admission to the "digital departments".
