Moscow Polytech integrates HR processes on “1C” uniform platform

Moscow Polytech finished transition onto the 1C uniform platform for personnel management across all its branches. The project included the main campus with branches in Kolomna and Ryazan’, having become the first step in consolidation of university’s technological platforms.

Implementation of the 1C uniform system allowed unifying personnel management processes, increasing transparency and efficiency of staff management across all the departments. Now, HR-specialists of the main campus and branches work in a single information space, using standardized tools and procedures.

“The transition to a single platform 1C for personnel management is an important step in digital transformation of our University. We are striving to use the best technological solutions, in order to increase efficiency of university’s main processes. Consolidation of HR–systems allowed to optimize HR services’ work, to reduce labor costs and to improve quality of employee’s data,” – noted Vice-President for Digital Development of Moscow Polytech Ilya Krassil’nikov.

Thanks to the transition to 1C, an opportunity of automatization of a number of routine operations in Moscow Polytech emerged. This included forming personnel documents, salary and vacation pay calculations, keeping timesheets. The system provides rapid access to actual information about employees, allows forming analytical reports and forecasting staffing requirements.

In the framework of the project, data migration took place, together with the integration of 1C with other resources of the University. HR staff underwent training to work with the new platform. Further, it is planned to expand functionality of the system and connect additional modules for increasing the efficiency of personnel administration.

Unification of personnel management on the basis of the 1C is a part of a comprehensive strategy of digital transformation of Moscow Polytech. The University will continue to implement advanced technological solutions for optimizing key processes, improve the quality of educational and administrative services.

“Consolidation of HR-platform of the main campus is just the beginning of the path. We plan to further unify our IT-systems in order to provide seamless interaction of all departments and effective management of the University in the context of digital reality. Our goal is to create a high-tech educational environment to meet the demands of students, faculty staff and employees,” - underlined Ilya Krassil’nikov.
