Moscow Polytech hosts the conference “On the same wavelength as universities”
Within December 5-6 at Moscow Polytech there is conducted the annual conference “On the same wavelength as universities”. In total in the events, participate more than 100 universities of Russia, which discuss upgrading the quality of educational process, exchange the experience of the universities’ centers of competence, summarize the results of the work for the year, as well they plan the tasks for the future and what not. The Presidential Platform “Russia-the Country of Opportunities” is holding the conference jointly with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia.
The program includes five thematic clusters, which are dedicated to the exchange of experience and best practices of the acting centers of competence, opened based on 235 universities of the country.
“In no way I could miss the given event, as I treat very warmly to the centers of competence, the same way as to the project that was created before my eyes. I am very grateful to those colleagues, who are developing this tool. Together with Dmitry Guszhelya, Deputy General Director of Presidential Platform “Russia-is the Country of Opportunities”, we are constantly thinking how to integrate it even more, how to better use its very powerful resource. At the same time we do understand that this project is also important for the employer, which receives additional information about students, as of the future employees”, - underlined Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Olga Petrova.
Thus, the experts will discuss involvement of as many as possible applicants, students of the first and graduate courses for the development in them supra-professional competencies; improvement of the quality of education and extracurricular activity, integration of courses and programs on the development of universal competencies into educational programs, development of teachers, administrative and managerial staff of universities, as well as employment of graduates taking into account their revealed competencies.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, President of Moscow Polytech Vladimir Miklushevskii gave the floor, having noted the role of our University in the discussion of ideas, development of education and science, exchange of experience and cooperation with the platform “Russia-is the Country of Opportunities”.
“The university nowadays – is not only knowledge, but also an opportunity for self-realization; this is a springboard for a successful start in the future. Moscow Polytech – is the center of gravity for talented youth. Our university is participating in the project for the third year already and we are aware how important it is to create conditions for developing best projects and initiatives, to help students in realizing their dreams, goals and to grow professionally. At Moscow Polytech, the employees of the Center of Competencies actively conduct testing of students in the framework of the discipline “Project Activity”, as at our University the education is practice –oriented. This means, that our graduates do not only obtain higher education, - by the moment of receiving a diploma they become ready-made professionals, demanded in the market”, - noted President of Moscow Polytech Vladimir Miklushevskii.
A separate block is dedicated to project ambassadors, who promote the values of presidential platform, assist to universities, and form a liaison between universities and students. In total, more than 100 representative of Russian universities take part in the event. These are the specialists from various spheres: medicine, agriculture, aerospace instrument engineering and others. The result of the event will become forming of proposals on further project development, as well as dissemination of best practices in organization of diagnostics and development of universal competencies.
