Moscow Polytech Holds III Reciting Contest for International Students “Russia, My Soul”
Moscow Polytech held the III Reciting Contest for International Students “Russia, My Soul” in an online format. The contest was held under assistance of foundation “Russkiy Mir” (“Russian World”) and was commemorated to A.S. Pushkin`s 225th anniversary, as well as celebrations of Day of Russia.
The Contest that has been organized by Moscow Polytech for the third consecutive year, annually receives a wide feedback from international citizens from all around the world.
The Contest has a wide geography, thus this year there has been 50 participants from 32 countries who are currently studying at Moscow Polytech including the University Kolomna and Cheboksary affiliations, Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (Novomoskovsk affiliation), MGSU, MIIT, Vavilov University under the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, MADI, MISIS, MEI, Tomsk State University and Ulyanovsk State Technical University.
In addition to the Contest, the organization committee prepared an intensive program that included acquaintance evening, river walk, seminar and quiz devoted to “Russian Soul-touching Poets and Writers”, excursion to Pushkin state museum and House of M.Yu. Lermontov.
The Contest included two sections: one for the preparatory course students who are learning Russian, and the other one – for bachelor, master and specialist students of Russian universities. The performances were evaluated by the expert jury.
