Moscow Polytech Expands International Partnership with Chinese Universities
A meeting with a delegation from Beijing Information Science and Technology University was held at Moscow Polytech. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for developing partnership relations between Moscow Polytech and Beijing Information Science and Technology University.
Representing Moscow Polytech at the meeting were Yulia Davydova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Igor Smolianoy, Head of the International Programs Department and Andrey Kirsanov, Head of the Department of Equipment Design and Automation of Technological Production Processes named after Professor M.B. Generalov. The Chinese delegation included representatives of the university’s academic and administrative divisions, as well as specialists responsible for the development of international cooperation and educational programs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the implementation of joint educational programs, academic mobility for students and faculty members, participation in joint grant projects, collaborative research activities and the development of joint scientific initiatives. One of the key outcomes of the negotiations was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, which formalizes the parties’ intention to strengthen partnership relations and expand cooperation in priority areas of activity.
At the end of the visit, the Chinese delegation was given a tour of the laboratory of the Advanced Engineering School of Technological Leadership FDR at Moscow Polytech. The guests became acquainted with the university’s modern equipment, key areas of engineering education and scientific and technological activities. They also learned about Moscow Polytech’s developments in racing car engineering and electric transport technologies.
The meeting demonstrated the mutual interest of both parties in strengthening international academic cooperation and laid the foundation for new joint projects in the fields of science and education.
