Moscow Polytech Delegation Returns from Thailand with Practical Experience in AI and Big Data

Students of Moscow Polytech have successfully completed a four-week internship at the Asian Institute of Technology in Pathum Thani Province, Thailand, and returned to Moscow. During the program, 11 students gained practical experience in artificial intelligence, Big Data analysis, and other modern engineering fields.

The internship program was organized by the university’s International Programs Office and aimed at developing engineering and management competencies. Participants represented six faculties: the Faculty of Economics and Management, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Transport, Faculty of Information Technologies, Faculty of Publishing and Journalism, as well as the V.A. Favorsky Institute of Graphics and Book Art. The visit also included networking with international experts, cultural immersion and educational excursions.

“I gained really valuable experience and a lot of vivid impressions during the trip. Over the course of the program, I improved my communication skills, adaptability to a new environment, and English language proficiency, since we constantly interacted with people from different countries. Besides that, during the month we managed to explore the local culture and try traditional dishes. We also visited Koh Lan Island several times — it’s an incredibly beautiful place. We swam, relaxed, and simply enjoyed the atmosphere. Overall, the trip left only positive emotions and provided meaningful life experience,” shared Ilya Oleynikov, a first-year student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
