On 17 April, the university contest of beauty and talents “Ms & Mr Polytech 2024” came to an end. 16 University students competed with each other to get the main title. As a result, the winners became Daria Samerkhanova and Lev Bedoyan.
The contest “Ms & Mr Polytech 2024” included several stages at once: intellectual, sports, culinary and creative stages. Students passed some stages several days before the actual finals at educational, cultural and sports-technical center “Polyot”. Other tasks, such as visit card, creatives and dance performances, as well as defile took place at VDNKh.
The jury board was comprised of director Mikhail Zhelenkov, curator for «DDX Fitness Universities» Alexandra Fedorova, “Mister Moscow Studentship” Vladislav Falileev, actress and Moscow Polytech graduate Ekaterina Leonova and others.
As a result, the title of “Miss Moscow Polytech” went to a 4-year student of the Institute of Publishing and Journalism Daria Samerkhanova. Daria shared that she`d decided to participate to overcome herself and try something new.
“A very unexpected victory! The contest is always unexpected but I`m glad that I managed to convey everything that I wanted”, the winner shared her impressions.
The title “Mister Moscow Polytech” went to the IT faculty 1-year student, trade union activist Lev Bedoyan.
Organization committee and the University partners awarded valuable prizes to the winners. The deputy chairman of Moscow Polytech trade union Polina Moskvitina thanked the participants for their bright performances:
“Thank you to all the contestants. Don`t postpone for tomorrow the chance and opportunities given to you by the University. Accept this experience and enjoy student years!”
Elizaveta Mishanova became a runner-up Miss Moscow Polytech and Valiko Chatauri the runner up Mister Moscow Polytech.
“I was going for the contest thinking that I`ll get a chance to meet new people and enjoy performing on stage. We`d been preparing dance and creative performances, as well as visit cards in the course of the whole month. All stages provided an opportunity to uncover our talents, do our best and even discover something new”, shared runner-up Miss Moscow Polytech Elizaveta Mishanova.
Audience voting followed the contest program. As a result, “People`s Choice Award” was awarded to Ksenia Ryabchikova and Lev Bedoyan.
