Moscow Polytech and Ozon Conclude Agreement

Ozon became a new industrial partner of the University. The parties signed the agreement on April 17 during the Day of Moscow Polytechnic University at the International Exhibition “Russia” at VDNKh.

During the signing ceremony, Ozon was represented by the director general Sergei Belyakov, whereas Moscow Polytech was represented by the vice-president for academic affairs Gyuzel Sharipzyanova. This kind of cooperation shall result in an increased number of students that undertake internships at the company for their further employment there as graduates. 

“It`s wonderful that thanks to our cooperation with Ozon we`ll certainly get to realize cool join projects. I`m sure that the new modern ideas will be implemented within your company”, noted vice-president for the academic affairs Gyuzel Sharipzyanova.

In his turn, when delivering a speech devoted to “Electronic Commerce in Russia on example of Marketplace ‘Ozon’” Sergei Belyakov talked about the stages of trading online, its field areas, partners, teams, as well as the fact that the company has a whole range of perks for young employees. Thus, all interns with no exceptions are paid a salary.

“Apart from that, internship programs are interesting and insightful. Even if you`re not going to stay to work with us, the very fact that by building competencies you`re forming a quality labor pool – is by itself a great result of the internship programs. Internships don`t require much time and can be combined with studies”, the executive director says.
