Moscow Poly United Student Council Celebrated Its First Year of Active Work

At a reception, 20 members of Moscow Poly united student council received letters of gratitude from the University president Vladimir Miklushevskii for their excellent work. The guys have been introducing many innovative solutions in the process of student co-management at the University.

Today, the united student council (USC) includes representatives of 25 student associations. In total, there are more than 40 activists.

According to chairman of the USC Alexandra Sedelnikova, in the course of the year, the students were making proposals on how to improve the work of a disciplinary commission and to simplify the procedure of placement to dormitories. They discussed the expediency of raising the fees for dormitories for contract students, developed a provision by the dormitory student council and reset their work as it is at the dormitories № 2, 3 and 4.

The USC represented the students` interests various commissions, completed the development of the “Passport of Achievements” section in the student personal account. They also thought about leisure-time activities for students: helped to establish a new comic association called “Sur”. By the way, the “Sur” members already performed at a KVN festival in Sochi this January.

One of the most serious to work on was the preparation of an agreement project between the student team and the University administration.
