Moscow Poly Teams' WorldSkills Victory

The finals of VIII National Competition of cross-industry professions of Industry Advanced Technologies WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2021 took place in Ekaterinburg.

WorldSkills Hi-Tech is a national competition final on professional skills among experts in the field of advanced technologies. The championship is held annually in Ekaterinburg in the terms of "Young Professionals" project implementation, which is a part of the national project "Education". This year 42 teams with 500 members in 39 professional competences took part in the competition. The competences covered the fields of services, transport, logistics, production, engineering, IT, communication and construction. The participants' works were assessed by 500+ experts.

Lidia Mikhailova, a Moscow Poly Urban Studies and Economy Faculty master student, took the 3rd place in the competence "Budgeting". She took part in the competition with Irina Karimova, expert-compatriot and the senior professor of the Economy and Management Faculty.

The team in the competence "Engineering design" (Ilya Savelev, a senior professor of the Urban Studies and Economy Faculty, Alexey Efremov, a senior professor of the Project Training Center as experts-compatriots and Ivan Petukhov, a senior professor of the Project Training Center, Danila Nikonov, Valeria Tsatsurina and Elizaveta Potemkina, Urban Studies and Economy Faculty students as participants) also showed good results. Ksenia Malykhina, the Head of Professional Competences Development Center, participated in the event as a team-leader.

Students, participating in the championship, have undergone internships on SC "Roscosmos" industrial sites, that's why they have showed such results during their participation in the event.
