Anna`s works mainly aim to convey emotional moments: “Do not be afraid to try something new, rather devote the work to exploring the possibilities that a subject or material has. You need to be open to the maximum and allow the viewer feel and see the moment that is created”.
The work called “A Moment Before..” was being created for 5 years. After the presentation of the work to the (“Academic Drawing and Pictorial Art”) department teachers and thanks to the support of the director of Institute of Graphics and Book Art Sergei Birichev, Anna submitted her application for the Russian Week of Arts 2023.
When talking on a philosophical component of her work, Anna noted that the painting conveys a moment before the collision of large space bodies that create the light of an extraordinary beauty and brightness just “A moment before” [the collision]:
and brightness just “A moment before” [the collision]: “Working on this, I studied the laws of compositions and colouristics through complex, sharp but also blurred gradient color combinations. Some viewers appreciated the work as a beginning of something new, and some will see plain geometric interactions”, - summarized Anna Kravchenko.
As a result, Anna managed to take the 2 place in the “Avant-garde Pictorial Art: Abstraction” for professional and met modern designers and abstract artists. Anna has also been invited to the Eurasian Union of Artists.
