Moscow Poly Representatives Participated in Educational Fair in Karachi
Moscow Poly representatives – vice-president for international affairs Yulia Davydova and the deputy head of the directorate for international integration and work with foreign students Alina Andrukh – participated in the Russian Educational Fairs KARACHI 2023 organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office to the Islam Republic of Pakistan.
In the course of the event, the University employee visited various Karachi colleges and universities where they hosted career guidance events. Pakistani citizens demonstrated the biggest interest in the educational programs offered by the Faculty of Information Technologies, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Economics and Management. Potential enrollees paid special attention to the programs that teach Russian as a foreign language carried out by the preparatory department.
Several universities including NED University of Engineering and Technology and IQRA University expressed their intention to participate in scientific conferences and internships offered by Moscow Poly.
The delegation members took part in the meeting with the Consul general of the Russian Federation to Pakistan Andrei Fedorov, where they discussed the issues of cooperation in the sphere of education and its implementation between the two countries.
As a result of the meetings, the University (Moscow Poly) has been included in the list of members of the working group for selecting candidates for studies in Russia.
Moscow Poly has been participating in the educational exhibition in Karachi for the second year in a row. A complex of events held last year resulted in 10 Pakistani citizens coming to study to Russia. Overall, there are 1 600 international students from 66 countries studying currently at the University.
