102 people – state organization and business representatives, as well as the representatives of various scientific, educational, cultural, public and technological organizations became a part of the renewed Agency for Strategic Initiative (ASI) Expert Board headed by the president of the “VEB.RF” state corporation for development, Igor Shuvalov. Among them is the head of the AI Lab, professor at Moscow Poly “Information Technologies” department, Andrei Filippovich.
The Moscow Poly professor has a five-year experience of work at the ASI expert board. In 2022, he became one of 300 people who participated in an open selection for the board. The Comission evaluated the [participants`] portfolio, projects and ideas that they put forward, as well as their professional experience, the level of knowledge and expertise, reputation and status in professional community, as well as their public profile.
Structurally, the Board is comprised of eight working groups: “Critical Technologies”, “Business Activity and Entrepreneurship”, “The Quality of Life”, “Urban Economy and Creative Industries”, “International Cooperation and Trade”, “Human Resources”, “Environment” and “Socio-economic Planning”.
Andrei Philippovich is an expert within the “Human Resource” task group.
Just before, a briefing for the renewed expert board was held where the participants discussed the agenda priorities for the task groups and the nearest upcoming events that the task groups will participate in.
For reference: the task range for the ASI encompasses the pending challenges of the modern world and possibilities of ground-breaking development, and carrying out the expert project and initiative examination. In addition to that, the board members will also participate in developing recommendations regarding session agenda and solution drafts proposed by the supervisory council; ASI development strategy; relevant issues of the socio-economic development of Russia; and meeting the national project goals under statutory instruments supervision.
