Moscow Poly Presents Pre-Test Model of Smart Shuttle Drone at MANTF-2023
Moscow Poly took part in the XXI International Automotive Scientific Forum MANF-2023.
The main topic of discussion this year was ensuring the competitiveness of the Russian automobile industry until 2035.
The Vice-President for Academic Affairs and the head of Moscow Poly Advanced Engineering School Pablo Iturrade represented Moscow Poly at the event.
Within the framework of the round table “Achievement of technological sovereignty in science and engineering in the automotive industry of Russia” Guzel Sharipzyanova made a report on “Improvement of educational activity and experience of cooperation of the university with educational organizations and industrial partners of Moscow Poly”.
“This year we have more than 250 projects, 227 of them are from customers. So students with industrial partners are creating popular projects. Within the framework of the program “Priority 2030”, together with industrial partners we have a unique opportunity to prepare Further Education Programs required to our graduate students for employment”, - said the vice-president.
The head of Moscow Poly Advanced Engineering School Pablo Iturralde made a report on “Simulation of suspension of the MIG R2 electric cycle” and spoke about the participation of students in the project.
“The main feature of the emergence and development of the MIG R2 electric cycle project is the fact that students of our university worked on it under the guidance of professional engineers. The students practiced to conduct in-depth analysis and draw conclusions from the of the predecessor of the MIG R2 - the MIG R electric cycle”.
The director of Advanced Engineering School of electric transport of Moscow Poly also shared the fact that many students who participated in the creation of MIG R2 are currently working on joint projects with the company “Autotor Holding”. That is why one of our main tasks is to prepare decent personnel for the future of the country through the creation of a unique product.
At a specialized exhibition in the design center Moscow Poly Advanced Engineering School presented its leading developments: electric motors MIG R and MIG R2, electric quad Stels Guepard and racing sports car Marussia GT.
The main event for the university was the first appearance of a pre-production model passenger drone Smart shuttle. There were significant improvements in the new version: installed a hatch and air conditioning system, developed ergonomics salon, and modernized suspension elements and other technical characteristics.
Moscow Poly continues to implement one of the central tasks of the strategic project “Accessible Electric Vehicle” within the grant of the program “Priority 2030”, that means the transition from prototypes to pre-production samples, which will be accepted into serial production.
We recall you that in 2021 Moscow Poly received a basic grant for its development in the amount of 100 million rubles. In December 2022 Moscow Poly received a special part of the grant program “Priority 2030” on the track ”Industry and (or) territorial leadership”.
The university presented a strategic project “Accessible electric” vehicle to participate in the program. Within the framework of the project the university plans to create a domestic engineering school of electric vehicles, thus the university will contribute to the achievement of technological sovereignty of Russia.
“Priority 2030” is the largest state program in the history of Russia to support universities, it is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Russia in the field of education, science and technology. It was launched on June 24, 2021, and is expected to last 10 years. Today the program is provided to 129 universities, 48 of which are recipients of a special grant. In 2023 the funding of the program will amount to more than 32 billion rubles.
