Moscow Poly has presented its project of development program till 2030 to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation commission. Moscow Poly plans to concentrate on key challenges of automobile, energy and engineering industries and initiate 3 strategic projects for green economy: “Affordable battery-drive vehicle”, “New hydrogen energetics”, “Laser optics”. By 2030 Moscow Poly will introduce a new educational model, highlighting its creative component.
“We integrate a creative component (arts) in current STEM-model for the development of creative and communicative skills, using our key advantage – professional schools, who prepare staff for creative industries”, – highlights Vladimir Miklushevskii, the President of Moscow Poly.
Another distinctive feature of the educational process apart from science and creativity integration is that Moscow Poly relies on project training, which includes students of all bachelor years of study. Racing cars, electro-motorcycles and unmanned vehicles, created with the help of Moscow Poly students, are spoken of on all leading sites of Russia. In winter 2020 our electro-motorcycle set a world speed record on the ice of Baikal Lake and in the end of August 2021 we presented an unmanned Smart-shuttle during the forum “Armia-2021”. Moreover, Moscow Poly has accepted +40% of students this autumn in comparison with 2020 and the average USE point has grown for 3 points.
By 2027 Moscow Poly is planning to relocate to a new campus, built with the use of green technologies in accordance with the best international practices.
