Moscow Poly opened an entrepreneurship educational program
Moscow opened an educational program for students “Entrepreneurship in Universities”. The participants will acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of economy, technological entrepreneurship and engineer projects management.
“Our goal is to provide the student community with the basics of entrepreneurship in the terms of the University program. Thanks to the program 500 students from 5 Moscow Universities will gain knowledge and skills in the pilot project on the site of Institutes of Higher Education”, - noted Alexey Fursin, the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow City.
The educational program is implemented in 5 Universities with an engineering profile: National University of Science and Technology MISIS, Moscow State University of Railway Engineering, National Nuclear Research University, Moscow Polytechnic University and Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics.
Face-to-face training courses take 2.5 months. Those students, who will pass them, will learn how to use the knowledge gained in a University and will be able to create innovative projects in the engineering and technological sphere. Moreover, they’ll find co-thinkers for experience exchange and joint projects launch.
The educational plan is composed from 5 thematic modules: “Creation and development of business-ideas”, “Team-development”, “Project economy”, “Promotion and service-design”, “Pilot launch and goal setting”. Each module has theoretical and practical part. Students will attend lectures, interactive master-classes, webinars, seminars with examination of companies’ cases and start-ups, tutors consultations and they also will conduct team and individual work.
The assessment of intermediate results will take place in the peer-to-peer format – one team will present another team’s project under the leadership of the moderator.
After the program the participants will defend their course works and receive the certificates of supplementary education in the established standard form.
