Moscow Poly Joined 3D Printing and Production Design Inter-Sector Cluster

Moscow Innovation Cluster established an inter-sector union of enterprises that is to engage in creation, promotion and circulation of the joint projects in the sphere of 3D printing and production design. Moscow Poly was among those who joined the union, as reported by the “Rossiyiskaya Gazeta” news agency.

The deputy mayor of Moscow Natalya Sergunina notes: “The demand for 3D printing has been growing in many spheres starting for industrial manufacturing to medicine. The new cluster will engage in developing and implementing complex solutions in this sphere. 35 companies have already joined in. The first project will be related to developing a granule printer for making large objects”.

The necessary resources and infrastructure are provided for the participants by the “Zelenograd” corporation. The partners of the contest are the companies-developers of 3D printers and scanners.

Overall, there are 14 inter-sector unions created in Moscow Innovation Cluster that engage over 850 companies. The participants are working on a total of 36 projects from different spheres. For example, robotics, micro-electronics, “green” technologies and AI.

Moscow Innovation Cluster is a platform for innovations implementation and cooperation between the large enterprises, industry and small- and medium-size business subject. The project is guided by the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development together with the Department of Information Technologies.
