Moscow Poly Included in THE Ranking 2022

For the first time, Moscow Poly has been enlisted in Times Higher Education Ranking 2022 as one of the promising Young Universities.

The rankings use data from the previous year to account for the specifics of young universities that have not yet built up a historic reputation.

Alongside with Moscow Poly the published part of the ranking enlisted 4 more Russian Universities: HSE has been placed 66th,, Siberian Federal University appeared in the 301-350 group, Kazan National Research Technical University appears in the 351-400 group, and RANEPA, together with Moscow Poly, has been included in the 401+ group.

The Young University Rankings are a subset of the main World University Rankings that focus on Universitites founded since 1972. The Young University Rankings assess relatively young universities that have been founded no more than 50 years ago using the same indicators as the institutional rankings. However, the coefficients represent specifics of universities that haven’t yet built up the academic reputation: in senior ratings Reputation accounts for 33% of the total score in the overall rankings and 22% in the Young Universities Rankings, with the remaining weighting distributed among the other indicators.
