Moscow Poly Held “Engineering – the Choice of Successful” Panel Discussion
On September 30, Moscow Poly held the “Day of Engineer” event that was organized in assistance with the Russian Union of Mechanical Engineers.
As per tradition, Moscow Poly partners visited the faculty of mechanical engineering to take part in the “Engineering – the Choice of the Successful” panel discussion.
The faculty students had an opportunity to meet specialists from aircraft engine construction enterprises, as well as rocket space and oil industry enterprises; atomic and thermal power engineering, and Russian shipbuilding enterprises.
Among other speakers there was the head of the department for institution strengthening and media interaction under “SoyuzMash”Evgeny Baranov; representatives of the “ZiO-Podolsk” car manufacturing factory; Chernyshyov Moscow Mechanical Engineering Enterprise; Piluygin Center for Automatics and Instrumentation Engineering, and etc.
For reference: the Day of Engineer is annually celebrated in Russia on the last September Sunday. The holiday derives from the USSR times when it was established by the USSR Supreme Council decree № 3018-Х “On Holidays and Memorable Days” dated 01.10.1980. The Day of Mechanical Engineer is a professional holiday for engineers and all working in the Mechanical Engineering sector of the Economy.
