VII Regional case championship in management has taken place at Moscow Poly on the base of the “Management” department under the faculty of economics and management. The cases were provided by the such companies as “Burger King”, Wildberries and Yandex. The finals have united over 200 participants fr om Moscow and regional schools and colleges.
According to the organization committee, similar events are beneficial both for the participants and industrial partners. School and college students can not only develop their skills – both ‘soft’ and ‘hard’, but also try themselves out as entrepreneurs by solving real business cases. It`s also interesting for them to hear the professional opinion firsthand from professionals. As for the companies, they can directly communicate with the interested customers who often offer a totally new approach to finding solutions to the problems.
The championship contained several modules. The teams from 61 schools and 35 colleges participated in the preliminary round wh ere they had to solve business cases.
After that, they has to present video presentations, cases and answer questions posed by the jury, as well as hold debates and managerial battles.
