Moscow Poly Establishing Representation Office in Shanghai
Moscow Poly representation office will be launched in one of the biggest cities in the China – Shanghai, as reported by the “Rossiiskaya Gazeta”.
Under the “Priority 2030” program, the University has been implementing the “Available Vehicle” project that contributes to achieving technological sovereignty of Russia. Moscow Poly is in the process of establishing of a national engineering school for electric vehicle manufacturing: specialists are to develop new technologies, localize the already existing technologies, as well as reverse engineering.
“Under current sanctions, the opening of the representative office in Shanghai will not only allow Moscow Poly to cooperate directly with scientific organizations in car manufacturing industry but also innovation industrial enterprises”, – noted Moscow Poly president Vladimir Miklushevskii, – “This will also help to speed up the process of purchasing high-technological equipment”.
Another absolute plus is promotion of Moscow Poly educational programs and the Russian Language, engaging talented enrollees and developing academic mobility between Moscow Poly and Chinese universities.
Moscow Poly admits international students and teachers from China for the programs of exchange on an annual basis. Thus, last year the University has opened its doors to over 200 students.
At the request of Chinese universities, Moscow Poly has launched some programs in an online format. In the course of 2022, over 205 students from China undertook internship programs. The first group of master students who studied in English has already received their master diplomas.
Among Moscow Poly partners there are Yanshan University, Nanyang Normal University, Zhejiang Ocean University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology and Shanghai Publishing and Printing College.
There are negotiations on cooperation with several more technical universities in China.
